Dear Mr. Allen:

We are today sending you the shoes we had such a hard time getting for you as
the factory made three pairs before they made up the shoe that you wanted. As
you remember it was a pattern that you liked but the factory Had discontinued
it from in stock. I had a time getting just the shoe you wanted. :

But here they are and the shoes sell or did sell for $12.50 but a make-up shoe
costs me $1.00 extra to make up a single pair, that would of made them sell
for $13.50. But up to this date we have always given you a cut price on your
shoes and we are makeing this pair just $10.00 but after this pair I will be
forced to collect regular price on all my shoes as my overhead is much larger
now than it was when I first started and I also have a guaranteed rent now and
a 10% rentage agreement on top of the guarantee. It just look like the busines
3 man is on his way oute Taxes doubled and extra taxes and what else will come
we do not knowe The factory went allow me the discount that 1 have given you
off on your shoes so I will have to get regular price for my shoes from this
