Allen, Director of Physical Education, University of Kansas, Lawrence, Kansas. Dear Doc: I have not yet seen a copy of your new basketball book but I understand it is a dandy. We would like to give you a write-up regarding the book in the Kansas Athlete which goes to all the coaches and officials in the state and if you can furnish me with some appropriate material I shall be glad to prepare a story. Of course, I would like to look over the book and if you can furnish me with a copy for a few days I shall appreciate it. t am not asking for a complimentary copy and do not wish you to feel obligated to furnish one. Perhaps there are some copies here in town which I can see. One of our high school principals who seemed to like the book very much suggested that we should encourage our coaches to purchase it and if you think a story of this kind will be desirable I shall be glad to see that it is printed in the next issue of the Athlete. Very cordially yours, EMS: 7 E. A. Thomas, Commissioner. EAT sEMK E. R. STEVENS, PRESIDENT INDEPENDENCE J. R. JONES, VICE-PRESIDENT SUBLETTE E. A. FUNK, TREASURER ARKANSAS CITY CLIFFORD D.
