Dear Sirs
Your letter of the lth received.

Our reason. for not writing is due to the fact that
as we told you when we were at Lawrence a week ago, it
would be necessary that we return after you have the sand
and gravel removed from the filter. After the inspection
has been made, we will then be in a position to give a
full report. :Incidently, your present pump is too small
and it will of course be necessary to furnish a new one.
However, as mentioned above, after we have inspected the
filter we will give you a final report including the
estimated cost for revamping the filter.
