Memo from Mr. Kanehl --

Diving Board -- we have a new 14 ft. board with
fulcrum which was purchased in anticipatiom
of a new pool.

In regard to construction of the pool ~ reference
is made to Plan No. 1, of Nov. 24, 1944. in which
case (since the pool is for instruction purposes
primarily) the plen was to leave the greater
surface of water at 6 ft. and less in depth --

35 ft. of shallow water. The original plan,
however, was a 10 ft. depth of the pool, which
would be more satisfactory in ma&intaining -that
much shallow. water. —

Ladder -- In view of the narrow construction of

the pool width, it is advisable to have a
recessed ladder, from a safety standpoint.
