39. ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PLAYGROUND ACTIVITIES Three hours credit.
Required of all candidates for the elementary school certificate.
This course is intended to scquaint the student with theoretical
and practical aspects of play In the school program. Play will
be trested with reference to its purposes and values for both

the individual and the group. Desirable habits, attitudes and
activities for the individuel's physical development, social
adjustments, and the prover use of leisure will be stressed.

Definite attention will be given to techniques, equipment and

edministration of play activities in the elementary school.
