C. Allen, director program, announced: yesterday. _ The playground= will -be- on: the - Jawn in front of Fowler:shops,-or just. éast. of the gymnasium. _The play- gtound will be open every night, ex- cept Saturday and Sunday, from 7 to 9 o’clock. : Use of the play facilities is not limited to students, everyone is in- vited to attend, and special play ar- rangements will be made for the children, Doctor Allen said. The following games will be avail- able on the playground, which will be lighted by large floodlights; -cro- quet, Shuffleboard, volleyball, bad-| minton, goal-hi, loop tennis, box hockey, deck tennis, ping pong, handball, and archery. Dave Shirk and Josephine Sams will be in charge of the playground, &. Ww working under Doctor Allen’s di- rrection. The softball leagues will be formed: next week.
