Russell and uy Smith fried steaks and this time we made our own coffee and fixed and prepared our own food and served it for 35¢- Everything that could be had on a steak fry was had at this sossalled farewell picnie. Large grills were used in frying the steak and everybody who attended voted Chefs Ruseell and Smith the best. Many people cane from out of toms. Or. We carried through the entire season a sixeteam softball league, each team having about 13 players on ite Most of these men who played were graduate students and they found these games on Monday, Wednesday and Friday necessary adjmots in keeping more physically fit and ow alert for the summer's grinds This league has been in full Swing three years, and if enything, it we eave popular this year than last. We arranged to have the swimming pool open immediately after the games so that the players could heve a plunge in the ‘pool.
