The Wildcats under the leader- ship of Lawrence Stanton have taken the lead. The Tigers are hot on the tails of the leaders, being only one game short of the top berth. The windy Cyclones are still in the money with four wins and three losses. The Corn- huskers have a three won, four lost standing. The Sooners are on the down-grade, having lost their last five games. The hard luck Jayhawkers broke into the winning column by defeating the Sooners 17 to 11 Wednesday.
