Features Refreshment Hour
Thursday Afternoon

A “Rerfreshment Hour” Thursday
afternoon in the Men’s Lounge of
the Union building will give stu-.
dents and faculty members a chance
to relax and forget the heat. The

informal hour will last from- 3:30 to

4:30 and is being sponsored by Dr.
F. C. Allen’s class in Community
Recreation.

The feature of the afternoon’s pro-
gram will be a talk by Raymond A.
Schwegler, dean of the School of
Education. Other highlights will be
provided by Arleen Melchert who
will sing, and by Marshall Butler,
piano major, who will play two
numbers.

The entertainment composed of
Dorothy Gehret, Gearldine Ulm and

speaker, and stressed the import-
ance of recreation in education, and

couraged to develop spontaneous ex-

Arlene Melchart, who sang “When
Song is Sweet” by Sauci, and “Four
Ducks on a Pond,” by Needham.
