Dear Comittee Member:

Did someone once say “at long last"? Well, here it is. I am sorry to be
so late in getting back to you the summary of the answers to one of the
questionnaires. Following the example of some of you, the flu caught up
with me toot

You will no doubt recall that when I first wrote to you I sugzested that

we send out to schools questionnaires on the problems we were asked, as a
Committee, to help solve so that we might get their ideas and senc a sum-
mary back to them. Because of your help the distribution of these was

made possible. I have endeavored to keep the load of work as light as
possible for each of you because I know how busy you ane. Functions ¢ and
4 (plans for students at the Convention) I have tried to carry out without
calling upon you since the student chairman is in my College. I hope that
the meetings etc. planned follow your lines of thought. You will find them
written up in the April issue of the Journal.

As soon as I have completed the summary of the state and district cuestion-
aires (I sent out the district ones) I will send them to you. The district
summary will be sent out from here. I hope you will find it possible to
distribute the state report to the states allocated to you. This leaves a
maximum of 50 teacher education institutions and in most cases less than
that to be sent the enclosed report by each of you. I do hope that you
will find it possible to get this out now. It may do some good for the
National Convention. I will be glad to send the stencils for this summary
to any of you who find it impossible to get them cut at your institution.

I am enclosing also, the report of our Comiittees" work which I sent to
the Board of Directors. I hope it meets with your approval. It is my

understanding that our work finishes when we have fulfilled the cuties

listed in this report.

In. conelusion, I wish to thank each of you for your cooperation, your many
eood ideas, and your support. I hope that we have fulfilied our work

satisfactorily. I hope also to meet ench of you in New Orleans.
