AMERICAN ASSOCIATION FOR HEALTH, PHYSICAL EDUCATION, AND RECREATION Committee on Student Section January 6, 1942 Doctor F. C. Allen University of Kansas Lawrence, Kansas Dear Doctor Allen; I have held up the enclosed list of teacher education institutions, pending replies from all the committee members, in order to send you as complete and up-to-date listing as possible. In case your list of institutions did not include some of these places, you will be able to add these to your mailing list for the questionnaires that you are sending to directors of departments. Although I have asked for replies to these questiomaires by January 15th, I realize that everyone has been delayed in work due to the additional load we have undertaken for national defense. Therefore, I shall expect to receive replies up to the middle of February. I believe thet I will then be able to compile them into a complete summary for your final approval before the Convention. With this summary I will send you the names of the teacher education institutions that answered the questionnaire so that you may have a record of those that sre taking an interest and active part in student affairs in your section. I am especially appreciative of your help knowing how exceptionally busy you have become due to the present war. Please do not hesi- tate to send me your suggestions. Sincerely, Yrpira fl Virginia Bourquardez, Chairman Texas State College for Women VB-h Denton, Texas
