In reference, to your recent letter concerning the Third
War Loan Drive, allow,to say that my wife and I will buy each
month two U. S. War Bonds, Series E, one for $50.00 and one for
$25.00, and have placed a standing order to that effeet with our
bank, the First National Bank of Lawrence.

This same purehase each month we have made during the last
two years, and will centinue te do so as leng as present conditions
exist.
