My dear Friend:

I am certainly sorry that the matter of
your check was overlooked in the rush of school
closing. We had such a row with the Quivera
Management over the wretchedly poor service we
received that evening, that we have just now paid
their bill. I think this discouraging matter put
your expense item completely out of Miss Helwig's
head.

I'll see that the matter is straightened up
very promptly and thanks for your consideration.
