Before the war he was export manager for that firm. Len, from Sedalia back in 1913 and his Brother Bill, were the original owners of "491" Taxi in Columbia whose fleet of Taxis consisted of one 1912 Chalmers touring car (capacity at least 10 cho- rus gals from the Col. Theatre) and their pals of course. We believe that number still calls a Taxi at the U--Those were. the days eh, 19l3ers? At least 20 Mo men turned out for the KCAA Founders Day dinner at the Hotel President, and most of these boys attended the special Mo meeting held before the banquet, Craig Ruby presided and reported on his trip to Columbia and plans were laid tor trips to Columbia in March and in April. Jack Duncan was at the banquet, his first one,and he enjoyed it very much.
