Dear Phogs

I should like to be in a position to
assume credit for getting Washburn into the Kansas
City games, but frankly I cannot do that.

The Athletic Board was in favor of the
team's entrance and Dean Sellen was on his way to
see the Commander at the time I contacted Dean
Erickson, I will say that I spent the entire noon
hour trying to get in touch with Erickson. When
I finally reached him he expressed a keen desire
to get into the Kansas City games and I am happy
to know he succeeded.
