February 10, 1943. Mr. Julius Weil, : Union Wall Paper & Paint Co.,. Lincoln, Nebraska. — Dear Mr. Weil: Thenk you so much for your kind invitation to take luncheon with you on Saturday, February 15. You mention Fridey, but the date is Saturday. — I have written for reservetions at the Hotel Lincoln but have not heard from them as yet. I do hope to see you but I doubt if I will be able to have luncheon with you, much as I would enjoy it. Our boys are pretty badly crippled and some are sick, and I be- lieve I will stay pretty close to them. However, I certainly would enjoy seeing you et the game as I am anticipating plenty of trouble from Nebraska and it ma; be you will get a good chance to see us get licked. Our big rebounder and star pleyer, Charlie Black, is in the hospitel with pneumonia and of course he will not be alonge This will weaken our chances of victory very materially. Most anything can happen when your star is out. _ I trust that you and your family are well, and I am happy to state that ours are. Again thanking you for your kind invitation, I am Sincerely yours, ! Director of Physical Education, FPCA:AH Varsity Basketball coach.
