Dear Dr. Allen:

Congratulations on a fine basketball game last night. It was a
_ game between two top notch teams, one of which seemed to be"hit~
ting in the groove" and the other (our own team) a little off
'0n goal shooting. Our boys, I thought, made a very splendid

showing. The band thoroughly enjoyed playing for your splendid
audience and I want to thank you for making it possible for the
boys to go down,

We drew $47.00 from our band travel fund to pay for the evening
meal. At your convenience you can turn this in at the Business
Office to be deposited to that fund. When the bus statements

arrive I will send them on over to you. .
