I have been asked to serve as Chairman
of the Rules Committee of the Basketball Coaches Associ-
ation again this year. I have accepted and would like
to know if you would help out by being a member of this
committee.

I also want to extend to you my personal
congratulations for the fine team that represented
Kansas in the National Tournament. We all know the tough
schedule they had to play before getting to the finals
and I know that you are proud of them and especially
Phog, Jr. He certainly is a fine lad and one of the best
basketball players in the country. It certainly would be
great to have a team in the National Tournament and also
have the best player of that team your son.
