Dear Dr. Allen:

This will acknowledge the well-documented pro-
test against usurpation of the gymnasium by the music com-
petitors last Friday. I shall be glad to call to the
attention of Mr. Wherry the extent of class interruption
that resulted, apparently from inadequate supervision and
misunderstanding about facilities available. Situations
involving high school students can hardly be anticipated,
but with your cooperation we shall do our best to protect
you in the future.
