several thousand Jayhawkers out here rejoiced at
your defeat of the:strong U S C basketball team
last night. Whether or not you win from Indiana
next Saturdayrnight (and of course we hope you do),
your victory last night will long be remembered.

Thanks for your good wishes regarding

my automobile accident which is now just about six

months old. I am improving slowly but surely and

while it has been a battle (like some of your basket-
ball games) I feel that I will be able to get around
again fairly well before a great while.
