F. E. WRIGHTMAN, M. D. SABETHA, KANSAS October 26,. 1939. Dr. Forrest C. Allen, Director of Physical Education, University of Kansas, Lawrence, Kansas. Dear Phog: It was a great deal of pleasure to receive a letter from you of this date as we certainly have fond memories of your several visits here. Mrs. Wrightman, Rosalie, and I went down to see Fred last week-end and found him in the best of nealth and cer- tainly working hard. He is carrying sixteen hours besides two hours of activity which, of course, keeps him busy. but he likes it very much and is getting along verv well. He is out for track and works out with the bov from Paola who is supposed to be quite a star. Regarding Mr.. Hanson, I am glad to say that he has more than come up to our expectations. He is getting along very well with the boys and they seem to cooperate anti work for him very hard. In our conference, he has won two games and lost one. The one lost should have been a tied game. He is aiso doing well in his class work so that I feel, altogether,, that we are very fortunate in having chosen him for the place. I want to thank you for your cooperation in helping us to get such a good man. With best regards to your family and hoping to see you sometime this year, I remain, FEWs rl
