Dear Dr. Allens

I am very interested in your proposal
concerning air conditioning in the Union Building. The
idea has been Gurrent for some time and the main obstacle
seems to be the expense involved. The high ceiling of
the ballroom makes for a costly installation and the only
feasible suggestion seems to apply to some of the smaller
rooms which would serve only a limited clientele. However,
thank you for your interest and let me assure you we will
keep the matter alive for such time as funds and improved
methods of air conditioning will permit.
