Dear Mr. Bayles:

Last year our tennis boys were allowed to use
the university courts some for practice and for
school matches. This was because we are quite
handicapped on account of the restricted area
back of our court's base lines and on account
of a none too satisfactory surface.

Would it be possible for you to grant us a simi-
lar privilege this year? Our Mr. Lowell Bailey
is tennis coach and he thinks we would not often
ask for the use of the varsity courts even for
matches. For practically all of our use, the
practice courts are satisfactory.
