You didn't tell me whether you were general, major,
captain, sergeant, corporal, or a buck private. Anyhow, we
were tickled to death to have your good letter.

I eam tacking your letter up on the bulletin board
to let many of the fellows hear from Old Andy, or the Deavon.
Dean Nesmith and I were just talking about you to some of our
boys the other day.
