Dear Doc,

It was good to see you and to hear the fine things that I
heard of you and the splendid job that you are doing in
the organization of this new department. It came to me
through students, faculty, and alumni, and to tell you all
the nice things that all the people told me of you would
take more paper than the Company might permit me to use.

Anyway, Doc, it was darn good to see you and to hear
that you are doing just the job that I knew you would.
