Thanks very much for your letter and your complimentary
invitation to act as one of the three to decide on which
is the most valuable basket ball man. I do not feel I
would be a lot of help as I will be out of town three or
four weeks starting around the middle of January and will
evidently have to miss several games.

Under the conditions, naturally wanted to advise you
seeing that someone else could serve more wisely. If
you still want my help I will be very happy to do so.
