Dear Doc:

The wire was sent from my office and charged to me,
but George Nettels dictated it. George, Lefty Sproull,
Tuss Ackerman, and myself were conferring here in the
office when George mentioned the Kansas Oklahoma game.
I think the credit is due him.

You are putting it mildly when you say I would have
loved to have watched it. My congratulations to the
greatest basket-ball coach in the country and a game
team. It was a wonderful job and a real surprise. The
Chicago papers all save you a line as to the results.

We join you in being proud of a real job. Remember the
Woodys to all the Allens. With kindest personal regards,
