Dear Phog:

I am sure you can count on the Malott children-~a
boy thirteen; two girls, eleven and ten--for faculty children's
recreation classes. Let me know when your plans progress.

I also have your letter about arranging a time

for me to see Mr. Hinman. I have had to revise my dates a
bit as a result of the necessity of meeting with Mr. Ratner
on October 19. Therefore, I shall not be in Lawrence at all
that evening and will not have the opportunity to meet Mr.
Hinman on that day. I am sorry, indeed, not to do so, but
perhaps there will be another opportunity to do so at some
later time.
