Dear Phog:

In the course of an inspection of
the buildings yesterday to be sure they were
in the best possible shape for the opening of
school I took a look at your swimming pool
and was rather distressed to learn from the
janitor that it is leaking at the rate of
five thousand gallons a day. This is a
wasteful expenditure of water that seems to
me serious.

I would appreciate it if you would
investigate the possible causes and cures and
let me know sometime what the problem is.
