Dear Dr. Allen

This will verify our conversation yester-
day relative to the papers which I had filled
out for the Naval Reserve.

They informed me at the Kansas City office
that since I had done nothing more than to
fill out the papers that I had in no way jeop-
ardized them or myself, and that it would be
perfectly satisfactory and above board to ac-
cept the position at the University, and that
nothing more would be said regarding the papers.
