Gentlemen:

We acknowledge receipt of your January 4th
letter, calling to our attention of the shipment of
only one hundred twenty feet of 1-1/2" black pipe,
whereas your order requested three hundred ninety-two
feet.

It so happened that our stock on this particular
size was low, and we shipped you all the pipe we had in
stock at the present time. We have a car of pipe on
order with the manufacturer, which should be received
by us within the next ten days. Immediate shipment will
be made to you of the balance of your order upon receipt
of this car.

We regret very much our inability to ship your
order complete, and trust that you can wait until we re-
ceive our carload shipment to complete your order.
