THE UNIVERSITY OF KANSAS. LAWRENCE OFFICE OF THE CHANCELLOR July 23, 1941 Dr. F, C. Allen 105 Robinson Campus Dear Phog: I suppose I shall have to do it sometime and perhaps this fall will be as-good as any. Our calendar is not completed for fall and I don't know yet just when it will be but I shall try to let you know very soon. ‘ Don't you think it would be nice if I have to do it to do it when the Rotary Club comes on the Hill--if the officers decide to do so? I will not want very much time anyway. No souls are saved, I am sure, by long Rotary Club speeches! I just want to tell you that I thought your picnic last evening was a great success and very much worthwhile for both students and faculty alike. As a matter of fact, I have heard a great “deal of very fine commendation of your whole play program this summer. It has been a splendid job well done. —_ So Sincerely yours, fr Yona Gr Proto Deane W. Malott, DWM sh Chancellor
