TO HEADS OF DEPARTMENTS:

Your attention is called to the newly
adopted policy of the Association of American Universities
in regard to appointment of graduate assistants:

Any appointee to a graduate student assistantship
for the following year, when he is not a member of
the institution involved, shall have until April
15 to accept or decline the appointment.

As a member of the Association, we are
expected to follow this policy. Your cooperation will be
ereatly arpreciated.
