Washburn at Haskell Stadium, Friday night. I may be here, but generally
when we do not have a game, I am not always in Lawrence. The next home
game is Hovenher 17th, Kansas State at Lawrence.

I have a course in theory and practicing of athletic injuries.
Personally, I would much rather that Hurley come at 9:30 in the morning
on Monday, Wednesday or Friday at some time convenient to you and to me,
then the boys in the class would have an opportunity of observing the
injury and learning something from the situation.

I have not kept a Clinic Record as I do this work voluminously and
have so many of similar cause, if I did I would have no time to do any
other necessary work. Letme know the date that you decide, and I will
‘endeavor to help young Hurley all that I can. However, I would advise
that.the boy wear the strap to hold his shoulder in place because the
shoulder joint is a very unstable one, and if he gets his elbow above
the plane of the shoulder and if he should have it struck from under-
neath, causing an elevation of the elbow and a lowering of the head of
the humerus, the dinsoeRss en is very apt to recur. :
