and it may be better. I believe our leaders
have visions of a new order. They themselves
do not know whether it will be better or worse.
At the end of this war Germany, Britain, Japan
and America will be bankrupt financially. The
challenge to statesmanship is to see that we
are not bankrupt morally and spiritually.
