Dear Bill:

It was a pleasure to receive your letter of March 6.
Thanks so much for your congratuletions on our Big Six Champion-
ship. By now you have heard that we didn't do as well as you
had anticipated in the play-off with the Aggies, We are, how-
ever, anticipating another big year in 19461947, .

Your. father was in to see me a few days ago and
we had a very nice chat while he was waiting for your sister
to get out of class. You may or may not know that he is one
of the candidates for the Rotary International District
Governor of District 124. Of course, your personality was
discussed freely during our visit.

I hope you find the oi] that you expect for the
Phillips Company so that you may be able to return to the
United States shortly.
