Dear Carroll:

Thanks so much for your letter of the Srd of
Marche I appreciate gratefully; your congratulations on
our Lig Six title. We had a fairly well rounded team by
the end of the season when Schnellbacher got into shape
and Evans came back. It wasn't quite tall enough, though,
to handle Oklahoma A & NM, but we are penne ia
next year.

It was certainly nice of you to write as you

aia, as it is always a pleasure to get letters from Jayhawkers
from all over the country, I am happy that you have been able
to see some basketball of a different typee I think that if
everyone had that opportunity that they would appreciate more
