I was delighted to hear from you as of January 19,
It seemed like old times, old fellow, I got a big bang out of that
letter you wrote Dan Partner, He is a nice fellow and a good friend —
of ours, but I believe these fellows try to find a new way of pree
senting a story occasionally.

ZI want you to know how very much I appreciate the
nice things that you had to say concerning our work here at the
University of Kansas, After all, this is about all that we get out
‘of lifee-our friends.

I will inetd make it a peiat to see Carolyn
at the Pi Phi Housée I remember your other daughter very well and
some how I have a faint recollection of meeting mee but I will-
