John »| Cress, former national intercol- legiate champion representing the San Antonio Y.M.C.A., romped off with major honors Saturday night in the South- - | western A.A.A. gymnastic cham- pionships, in. which 65 entries competed here. Cress won the all-round cham- pionship and the senior title on the horizontal bars ahd the fly- ing rings. Paul Chapman of the Dallas Athletic Club won the senior tumbling championship and Skippy Browning of the D.A.C.| , -|the- trampoline crown.
