MINUTES OF THE BUDGET COMMITTEE OF THE COMMUNITY CHEST - 9-7-44 Chamber of Commerce . 7:30 P.M. Whipple George Hedrick The meeting was called to order by Mr. Fox and the first order of business being a letter from A. E. Woestemeyer of the Community Service League requesting the allocation of $200.00, same being the balance of the :3000.00 retained for their use from the National War Fund. It was requested that this $200.00 be allocated $100.00 for October and $100.00 for November. On motion by Mr. Decker. seconded by Mr. Whipple, it was voted to recommend approval of this allocation to the Board of Directors. The next order of business was the October and November allotments as follows: October November Boy Scouts $125.00 None Girl Scouts 58.57 None Y.M.C.A,. Tee None Y.W.C.A. 75.00 None Salvation Army 220400 None Social Service League 58.57 None Community Service League 200,00 200,00 TOTALS “#870, 98 £250.00 On motion of Mr. Whipple, seconded by Mr, Brinkman, the allotments as listed above were approved for recommendation to the Board. Thsre being a balance unallocated of $520.90, on motion of Mr, Whipple, seconded by Mr. Jones, it was voted to recommend the allocation of $364.63 to the National War Pund and $156.27 to the Community Chest.
