Although the organizations in the field of health and physical education -have as good a reason for meeting during these times as many of those which are convening regularly, we wish to do our full share in the waging of the war, hence are not encouraging travel to conventions. It is recognized that, at times meetings come under the definition of "urgency". The College Association has never conducted a drive for new members although it has welcomed them whenever they applied. Perhaps, because of this lack of aggressiveness a good many people in the college field have felt that membership in the Association was gained only through being formally invited. If the Association is to do its full measure of good in the college fieid it must be really representative of a large proportion of the college men. These brief paragraphs are an invitation to each member to seek new members from among your own acquaintances. We all will benefit from a larger membership. The recent letters and notes from members of the Association, who aro in military service, show them to be all over the world. Perhaps in the very noar future a compilation of the names and locations of thése men can be sent to you. pars very truly ep ee, c“ Glenn W. Howard GWH :HL Secrctary-Treasurer
