CENTRAL DISTRICT CONVENTION HEALTH, PHYSICAL EDUCATION AND RECREATION March 5, 1943 To Those Interested in Health, Physical Education and Recreation: Are you facing the problem of mass feeding in your school? Do you have doorstep children, for which you must provide a program of recreation before and after school hours? Do you understand the value of "The Grid?" How can you meet the standards of a good health and physical education program as outlined by the Victory Corps? If you want to discuss these pertinent problems along with many others and hear solutions to them by workers and leaders in the field, plan to attend the two-day Central District Health, Physical Education and Recreation Convention, April 2 and 3, in Kansas City, Missouri, As you will note in the accompanying material, the convention will be a workshop conference with extensive opportunity for participation by all, Key national and district speakers will be the leaders of the conference, To help us build up our own morale one evening will be dedicated to having "Fun." On Friday, April 2, there will be an informal dinner and llissouri hoedown followed by scuare and social dancing. Plan to attend this streamlined convention that you may assist in solving the problems of making Americans more physically fit now and in the future, Hotel reservations may be made by writing to the Hotel President, the convention headquarters, Reservations for the dinner may be made by writing to Miss Rosemary Beymer, Director of Art, Kansas City Public Schools, Sincerely yours, Nadine E, Miller Chairman Publicity Committee
