Dear Dr. Allen:

For April 20 we have made the following plan concerning the
induction of some men into the armed forces of the United
States:

The men will meet here promptly at 11 a.sm., receive
their instructions, and at 11:20 we will go to the
basement for lunch. After lugeh the men will come

up stairs and listen to the Junior High School Band
which will be assembled imnedietely in front of the
Armory. Then the men will be taken to the bus station
in private cars. ie will not have a parade,

We would be very much pleased indeed to have you come and
have lunch with us» We believe these selectees are worthy
of this honor, and we will ask that you advise us if you
will be present.

We will be able to provide the food for the selectees, but
unfortunately we cannot pay for the lunch for our guests.
It will be 50¢,
