Answering your comaumication of the Sth instant in
regard to outstanding basketball teams in this On, it is my
opinion that the University of Oklahoma will have another strong
team in our BigeSix Conferences Iowa State and Nebrasia alsoa re
schools that are returning the majority of their better material,

last year Oklahom, Missouri and Kansas tied for
first place and in the play-off to determine an NeCeAche representa=
tive, fansas wome Kansas then played Okleahom A, and M, tc deternine
the Fifth District Representative, because this District has two very
strong conferences--the JigeSix and the Missouri Valley Conferencese

Oklahoma A, and Me looks strong again this year, as well
as Creighton, another team in the Missouri Valley Conference which should
be outstanding this yeare Kansas lost four of her seven regulars last —
year eo will be hard put, using sophomore material as replecenent for
the seniors who graduated.s

__i would say the outstanding teams of the Big-Six this
year will probably be Oklahom, Nebrasin, Iowa State and Kansas, and
in the Missouri Valley, I would say Oklahoma As and Me or Drakes
