Dear Ruth:

Your very kind letter of the 29th instant has been re-
ceived and I want you to know that I appreciate your expressions
of good will. I assure you that it has been a pleasure to have’
you the short time that you have worked in our office.

I am wishing for Gordon and you a long married life of
health, happiness and prosperity.

Mrse Allen and I do appreciate your fine invitation to
visit you in Texas. And if the opportwmity ever presents it-
self nothing would give us more pleasure, I assure you.

Please give Gordon my very best in his new work that he
is now undertaking, and if at any time I can be of any service
