You will remember me as coach at the Danville
Indiana Normal College, and later National Director of
Americanism, The American Legion.

Recently I was called to active duty after
having a number of years in Washington, and naturally
am out of touch with Inter-Collegiate Athletic Activities
in the Mid West, so came to you for assistance.

Will you list for me eight or ten outstanding
basket ball players and their colleges, who are gracuates
and have military problems ahead of them.

I trust you will treat this request as con-
fidential, and I thank you very much--come and see us.
