I will be in Kansas City late Thursday afternoon and
will stop at the Muehlebach Hotel.

I am looking farward to seeing you as spon after my
arrival as possible, with the idea of discussing the invitation
to play in the annual Sugar Bowl Basketball Game in New Orijeans
on or about December 27th, 1940..

I would like very much for you to be in a position to
close for the game during my stay in Kansas City.

Please wire me immediately upon receipt @& this letter
if you need any additional information in order to bring this

matter before your athletic committee. I will be in New Orleans
until Wednesday night.
