Dear Coach Allen:

This is one, of what I presume, many requests you have to
address athleti¢ banquet groups.

On Monday, January 22 the Council Grove Chamber of Commerce
is planning to honor our high school athletes with an athletic
banquet. The committee in charge is anxious to have you with
us on this occasion and you present the main address.

I recall that on an oceasion before this, I have attempted
to secure you for a similiar occasion but that due to a basket-
ball conflicting date it was impossible for you to come. I
note that as far as basketball is concerned February 23 is open.

Will you please inform me if it is possible for you to be
with us on Tuesday, February 23 at 7:302
