Dear Dr. Allen:

We have scheduled our formal lettermen's
Ginner and dance for the evening of April 28th.
The cadets in whose honor the affair is planned
are desirous of having you give the address of
the evening. With.your permission, a part of
the program will be broadcast by one of the local
stations. Regardless of that, we should be
honored to have you and Mrs. Allen with us and
will try to provide a pleasant evening. If you
choose to return to Lawrence the day following
the program I shall see that you have the best
hotel accommodations our city offers.
