Dear Dr. Allen;

Fortunately we have now settled the legal dispute sur-
rounding the hooded jacket. Accordingly I am returm-
ing the three basketball sweaters, two of which have
had the worn fasteners replaced. I am very grateful

to you for lending me these, and I am glad that I don't
have to keep them any longer. I hope they will reach
you in time for the beginning of team practice.

I greatly appreciate your many kindnesses and the assistance
you so cheerfully gave me when I was conducting the inves-
tigation. I wish you would tell me quite frankly what I

can do to repay you.
